Today I went to the 12th Annual Lake County Folk Festival in Downtown Eustis. I was plannin on all my family goin and also my band members but it wasn't workin out. My bro had HORDES of emt homework. One sister was on ride time on the EMT truck all day today and my other sister had her Sat. schedule full with stuff to do. Dad wouldn't come...lol...Mom was my last option. And she was happy to come along with me. I helped her in the kitchen so she could get a few things done and we were out the door. The fest was better than last year...man ...i had a blast...n so did my mom!!! she loved Ashley Gang and we heard the great Morse Family, Jubel's Kin, and Men Of The House!!! WOW!! the only down side was the weather...HOT!! every one was just sweating! it was scorching! But we had an awsome time, just me n Mom. then we went home round 3:30 and we had band practice till the nite!! Can't wait for Nov 7!!! JAMBOREE!!!!
Times like that are the best! Going as a family is always fun, but you'll look back on this day forever. <3
