Snake skins...!
Obi went huntin a while ago with friends and they found a good sized rattler, about 4ft. Just right when he was about to take a step, he realized he was goin to step on it. They shot it with a 12-gauge (& busted the thing up). Unfortunately we wern't able to get the full length skin...it's in two pieces...and the head...well, the head is gone..;) we froze it and the other day Obi n me de-frosted em to get em cured!

ReplyDeleteWas he in Florida? Hm....was he purposely hunting rattlesnakes? Pardon my ignorance. What does one hunt in Florida? Alligators? Do they have deer? I know they kill rattlesnakes out west alot.
ReplyDeleteSylvia: LOL! yes, he was in Fl. just about 2.5 hrs north from where We live. In Florida we have deer,yes.And they hunt em gators too! about the rattlesnake, he wasnt actually hunting it...he was just moments close to steppin on it. the other kids that was with him shot it, cuz it was a prdy big one. his dad said he makes chilli with it!!! (never tasted snake chilli!) ;) thnx fer postin!
